How do I arrange for my skip bin to be collected?
Simply complete the skip bin return form on this page with your name, contact details, address and preferred pick-up date. Once submitted, Melville Bin Hire can arrange collection of your skip bin.
How long can I keep my skip bin?
The standard skip bin hire period is up to seven days. If you need the bin for longer, additional hire charges may apply, so please contact Melville Bin Hire to discuss an extension.
Can I have my skip bin collected earlier than seven days?
Yes. You do not need to keep your skip bin for the full seven-day hire period. If you have finished with it early, simply submit a skip bin return request and nominate your preferred collection date.
What information do I need to provide when booking a skip bin return?
You will need to provide your name, mobile phone number, email address, collection address and preferred pick-up date. You can also include any additional information in the comments section of the form.
What should I do if I need to keep my skip bin for longer?
If you need to extend your hire beyond the standard seven-day period, contact Melville Bin Hire as soon as possible. The team can confirm availability and advise you of any additional charges that may apply.
Do I need to be home when the skip bin is collected?
In most cases, you do not need to be home as long as the skip bin is accessible and there are no vehicles, gates or other obstructions preventing collection. If there are any special access instructions, include them in the comments section when submitting your skip bin return request.
