It’s easier than you think!

Do you think you might need a skip bin?    Are you already confused about which size you might need?   Don’t worry; this blog is going to help take the guesswork out of the equation. With a skip bin to suit any size project, we are confident we have the right bin for your job.

“SIZING UP” RULE

Before we delve into specific projects and their requisite bin sizes, a good general rule of thumb when hiring a skip bin in Perth is; If in doubt, always size up. We have so many customers who call us and say that their bin is full already and can they order another. To size up costs around $100 whereas a new bin can set you back around $300 so if you are in between sizes, always go up!

BATHROOM RENOVATION

When it comes to renovating a small bathroom, the items that need to go into a skip bin could be anything from cabinetry, to an old shower screen or even an old bath. Don’t forget too, the packaging of all the new materials and products you will have to dispose of. For this kind of renovation, we would recommend a 4-cubic metre skip bin.

KITCHEN RENOVATION

Kitchen renovations are a little more tricky as the sizes of kitchens can vary so much. With cabinets and bench tops, floor coverings and wall tiles and even large appliances, there is some wiggle room with this sort of renovation. If you factor in the packaging that all your new things will come in, you would need a 4-6 metre skip bin and as always, remember the “sizing up” rule

MOVING HOUSE: SMALL VS LARGE CLEAN-UP

If you are moving to a new house, this is the perfect opportunity to de-clutter and get ready for your new digs. Should you just have general junk and small bits and pieces, then a 4-cubic metre skip bin should suffice. If you have large appliances and/or furniture, then we recommend sizing up to a 6-metre skip, possibly even a 12.5- metre one. Remember, when in doubt, always size up.

GARDEN CLEAN UP

Ordering a skip bin in Perth for a garden clean up is a worthwhile investment. Tip runs can add up in both time and money and having to break everything down can also be a pain in the neck. Depending on the size of your garden, we recommend a 6-7.5 metre bin for your job.
